Courtney

Registered Dental Hygenist

Courtney graduated from baker college in 2009 and has an Associates of Applied Science degree and is certified in nitrous oxide, local anesthetic and has obtained a level one laser certification. Courtney loves her work because of the great patients. One of her favorite things about her job is getting to know each patients specific needs and helping meet those individually. In Courtney’s free time she enjoys being outdoors and spending time with friends and family.


Marissa

Registered Dental Hygenist

Marissa graduated from Kalamazoo Community College in 2019 and has an Associates of Applied Science degree with her license in dental hygiene.  She is certified to administer nitrous oxide and local anesthetic as well.  Prior to becoming an RDH, Marissa worked with Dr. Meri as an assistant.  She has been in the dental field since 2014.  Her favorite part about being a hygienist is building relationships with patients and creating a safe and inviting environment during the appointments. Outside of work, Marissa enjoys spending time outdoors with her golden retriever.

Shannon

Registered Dental Hygenist

Shannon entered the dental field over 20 years ago and has been a part of the Barclay Dental family for several years now. She completed her education at the University of Detroit Mercy where she graduated Summa Cum Laude and received a Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene. She also holds certifications for both Anesthesia and Nitrous Oxide administration. Shannon is married and is blessed with two very active boys. Shannon’s favorite part of her job is the beautiful environment in which she works and the ability to treat patients to her fullest potential. Her passion is working with kids and strongly believes, “Going to the dentist at an early age has huge advantages. This will promote excellent oral hygiene habits as growing adults.”

Very nice people and friendly . They actually put time into cleaning and caring for your teeth unlike other places i’ve been to. They do a very nice job and they even show you on a screen the inside of your mouth when theres a problem so you can see it for yourself

Experience is always great. Dr. Meri is very professional and personable. I had a cavity filled in without drilling or numbing using a laser machine to remove any decay and it was much better than the usual cavity experience.

5 out of 5? NO 10 out of 10!!! This dentist is AMAZING!! If you are looking for a dentist look no further! He’s knowledgeable, honest and funny. We all know children (and adults) fear the dentist but he’s so professionally funny warm and welcoming my child always asks when is my next appointment!? She cannot wait to see Dr Meri! His whole staff knows how to make you feel right at home.

I took my 3 1/2 year old daughter to Dr Meri to have her fillings done . We were so relieved when we found out there would be no shots and no drilling . Her fillings were done by laser treatment . She did not feel a thing and everything was done very quickly . His staff is absolutely amazing there . I highly recommend Barclay dental.
